Terms of Service

The rules for your little cat adventure: playing, looking after your saved journey, and making optional purchases.

Updated September 10, 2026

At a glance

  • Play for fun. Purchases are optional.
  • Bells are game items, not money.
  • Your mandatory consumer rights remain protected.

1. Your agreement with us

These terms apply to CatCatCat and its related legal pages, provided by VATTENTION PRIVATE LIMITED, Singapore (‘we’). Our address is 91 Bencoolen Street, #12-03 Sunshine Plaza, Singapore 189652. For assistance, contact help@vattention.com.

By using the game, you agree to these terms to the extent an agreement can validly be formed under applicable law. If you cannot agree, do not use it. The Privacy Policy explains information handling; acknowledging it is not consent to unrelated processing. These are CatCatCat's terms, not the terms for Vatt's video editor.

2. Age, permission and access

Use the game only where permitted by local law and your app store's rules. If you have not reached the age to enter this agreement on your own, your parent or legal guardian must review and authorize your use where the law permits. Purchases require permission from the payment account holder and any legally required guardian approval.

Check the store's age rating and parental controls. A content rating does not authorize a minor to enter a purchase contract. We do not promise that every feature or purchase is offered in every country or on every device.

3. Playing and permitted use

We give you a limited, non-exclusive licence to install and play CatCatCat for personal entertainment on compatible devices you own or control, subject to applicable store usage rules. We or our licensors retain rights in the code, cats, artwork, sounds and other game assets.

You may share screenshots and gameplay recordings as commentary or fan content, including ordinary monetized gameplay videos, provided you respect others' rights and do not suggest official endorsement. This does not permit extracting or selling game assets, distributing modified copies, counterfeiting purchases or using our branding as your own.

Do not interfere with store transactions or security, exploit payment bugs, distribute malware or use the game unlawfully. Restrictions do not override rights that applicable law or an open-source licence expressly grants you. There is no in-game player marketplace, trading, cash-out or gambling service.

4. Progress, hearts and availability

CatCatCat is a hexagonal match-three game with cat care and city progression. Rewards, chapter objectives, timers and item costs are shown in the game. Hearts regenerate over time; failing or abandoning a played attempt may consume a heart. Saving and continuing the same attempt does not itself cost a heart.

Bells, hearts, boosters, cosmetics and progress have use only within the game. They are not currency, deposits or investments, have no promised cash value, and cannot be exchanged or transferred between players. Earned items and optional purchases do not guarantee a particular score or level result.

We may fix bugs, improve balance and add or change content. We will not use a balance update to disregard legally protected rights in paid content. Where a material change or discontinuation affects paid content, we will provide the notice and remedies required by applicable law. We do not promise indefinite availability or a fixed schedule of new cities.

5. Optional purchases

Where enabled on iPhone and iPad, purchases use Apple's in-app purchase system. Before confirming, review the product, quantity and localized price shown by Apple, including the applicable tax treatment. Prices and availability may differ by storefront. There is no automatically renewing CatCatCat subscription. Android checkout is not currently enabled.

Bell packs are consumable. A successfully delivered pack adds bells to the local game balance; those bells are spent when you confirm an eligible in-game exchange. Permanent cosmetic purchases are non-consumable and unlock the described item for use in the game, subject to the applicable licence and store entitlement.

Delivery occurs after verification. A cancelled, failed or awaiting-approval purchase does not grant an item. If charged but not delivered, use Retry in the Bell shop or reopen the game; do not pay again to fix a missing order. Contact us if delivery remains unresolved.

6. Restore, refunds and consumer rights

Restore purchases checks eligible permanent items using the purchasing Apple Account. Finished consumable bell packs cannot be restored as a fresh balance. Reinstalling or changing devices does not synchronize unused bells or game progress. A verified refund or revocation may remove the associated purchased cosmetic; an independently earned entitlement is not removed for that reason.

For purchases billed by Apple, request a refund through Apple's Report a Problem service or Apple Support. Eligibility and processing follow the applicable store rules and law. We can help investigate delivery; we cannot guarantee Apple's decision. This is not an ‘all sales final’ rule.

Nothing here excludes rights to cancellation, withdrawal, refunds, repair, replacement or other remedies that mandatory consumer law gives you, including rights for defective or undelivered digital content. Where immediate supply of digital content affects a withdrawal right, any legally required express consent and acknowledgement must be obtained through the relevant purchase flow; these terms alone do not waive it.

7. Local saves and device changes

There is no CatCatCat account or developer-operated cloud save. Progress, inventory, unused bells and postcards are stored on your device. Local recovery copies reduce some corruption risks but do not guarantee recovery. Uninstalling, clearing storage, device loss or changing devices may permanently remove that data.

Keep your device secure and allow enough storage for saves. If the game reports a save failure, keep it open where possible and follow Help & save status. Your operating system's backup settings may affect what is restored; we do not control that service. These practical limitations do not remove any remedy we owe you under mandatory law.

8. App stores and other services

App stores, device platforms and linked websites have their own terms. For an Apple-distributed app, Apple's Standard EULA applies unless the App Store listing supplies a valid custom EULA. These game terms supplement the applicable app licence; they do not change your agreement with Apple. Mandatory law and the applicable store licence prevail where required.

CatCatCat is supplied by us, not Apple or Google. Contact us for game support; use the relevant platform's channels for platform accounts, payment controls and store issues. We do not receive or manage your Apple Account password.

9. Our responsibilities

We will provide the game with the care and skill required by applicable law. Software can contain faults, and we do not promise uninterrupted service, perfect compatibility or that every local save can be recovered. The game is for personal entertainment, so we do not undertake responsibility for business use or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Statutory quality guarantees, digital-content rights and remedies remain available. Any otherwise applicable limitation is subject to those protections.

10. Ending use and changing these terms

You may stop playing at any time. Uninstalling removes local data according to platform behaviour; it is not a refund request. We may restrict services within our control where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, fraud or legal requirement, with notice and an opportunity to address the issue where appropriate. We cannot remotely erase an offline save merely by terminating a licence.

We will date updated terms and explain material changes through an appropriate website or in-game notice before they apply, except when law or an urgent security issue requires otherwise. New consent or agreement will be requested where legally necessary. Updated terms will not retroactively remove mandatory rights in completed purchases.

11. Questions and disputes

Please contact help@vattention.com about a problem so we can try to resolve it. Informal contact does not prevent urgent action, pause statutory deadlines or require you to give up a claim.

Singapore law governs these terms except where mandatory law in your place of residence applies. As a consumer, you retain access to courts, regulators and dispute processes that applicable law makes available to you, including local courts where permitted. These game terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. The English and Simplified Chinese versions describe the same terms. Mandatory local-language and consumer protections take priority over any interpretation that would reduce them.
