Privacy Policy

Your journey stays close to home. This policy explains the information used by CatCatCat, its optional purchases, our support team and this website.

At a glance

  • Game progress stays on your device.
  • No game account, ads or gameplay analytics.
  • Apple handles iPhone and iPad payments.

1. Who is responsible

CatCatCat is provided by VATTENTION PRIVATE LIMITED (Singapore). In this policy, ‘we’ means that company. Our registered address is 91 Bencoolen Street, #12-03 Sunshine Plaza, Singapore 189652. Contact help@vattention.com about this policy or your information.

This policy covers the CatCatCat game, its support communications and this website. Vatt's video-editing services have a separate policy. This notice describes data practices; it is not a request for blanket consent to additional processing.

2. Information kept in the game

The game stores your city and chapter progress, scores, settings, chosen cats, care and friendship history, inventory, bells, heart timers, daily goals, reward claims, and unfinished board on your device. It also stores game-generated cat postcards in its own local album. Selecting a city is a game choice; the game does not read your real location.

Local saves include recovery copies and purchase-delivery records. We do not operate a player database or cloud wallet, and the game does not send these records or your gameplay to our servers. The game does not offer player accounts, chat, user uploads, advertising or developer gameplay analytics.

The game does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, precise location or system photo library. Cat expressions and voices are game assets, not recordings or analysis of you. There is no runtime AI prompt, face, voice or biometric processing.

3. Optional Apple purchases

On iPhone and iPad, Apple StoreKit supplies product information, localized prices and purchase results. The game verifies transactions and keeps product identifiers, transaction identifiers, delivered-item records and permanent-item entitlements locally. These records support delivery, prevent duplicate grants, recover unfinished orders and restore eligible permanent items. They are not transmitted to a developer-operated purchase server.

Apple handles your Apple Account and payment information under Apple's own policies. The game does not receive card details. Apple may provide us with sales, financial, refund or support information through its developer services; we use information we receive for purchase support, accounting and legal obligations, not gameplay profiling.

Android checkout is not currently enabled. The game has no recurring subscription. Other platform services, store diagnostics and device backups may process information independently according to your platform settings and their policies.

4. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer questions, investigate problems, handle privacy requests and maintain relevant support records. Our email service providers process correspondence to deliver those services.

The game's Copy diagnostics action copies the app version, platform, screen size, save format, recovery/write status and store status to your clipboard. It does not automatically send anything. The generated summary excludes transaction identifiers, receipts, wallet balances and postcards. Review what you choose to share; do not send passwords, full payment details or unnecessary personal information.

5. Visiting these pages

Visiting this website sends a normal web request to our hosting provider, Vercel. Its delivery and security infrastructure may process IP addresses, browser information, requested addresses, timestamps and technical logs to serve and protect the website. This website traffic is separate from offline gameplay.

We have not added advertising pixels, analytics trackers, login forms or marketing cookies to these pages. Language selection uses a link to another page, without storing a language preference. Infrastructure security features may use necessary technical mechanisms. External links open services governed by their own privacy notices.

6. Purposes and legal grounds

Where we process personal information, we use it to provide requested support and purchases, operate and secure the legal pages, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. For people in the EEA or UK, the relevant grounds are performance of a requested contract, legitimate interests in support and security where not overridden by your rights, legal obligations, and consent when separately required.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use your game data to train AI models or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. We do not add new collection merely because this policy mentions a possible legal ground.

7. Recipients and international processing

Information you send to support or our website may be handled by the company in Singapore and by service providers in other countries. We limit access to what is needed for the service. Where a transfer is legally restricted, we use the safeguards required for that transfer, such as an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual protections. You can ask us about the safeguards relevant to your request.

We may disclose information where legally required, to respond to valid legal process or to protect lawful rights. If responsibility for CatCatCat transfers to another operator, relevant information may transfer with it, subject to applicable protections and any required notice. Device-only saves are not automatically uploaded as part of a business or store-app transfer.

8. Retention, deletion and security

Game saves, recovery files, delivery records and postcards remain in the app's local storage until that storage is removed or replaced. Uninstalling or clearing app data can permanently erase progress and unused bells. Device backups may retain or restore app data separately; manage those through your operating system or backup provider. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete a save that exists only on your device.

We retain support correspondence and associated records for as long as needed to resolve the request, follow up on disputes and meet applicable recordkeeping duties. When those purposes no longer apply, we delete or anonymize the records, subject to lawful retention and backup lifecycles. Website operational records follow the retention necessary for delivery and security and the hosting providers' practices; we do not keep a separate gameplay analytics archive.

We use access controls and appropriate safeguards for information under our control. Local save checks and recovery copies help recover accidental corruption; they are not an encrypted cloud backup or a guarantee against data loss. Contact us if you believe information has been mishandled.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy or restriction of personal information we hold, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where we rely on it. You may also complain to a competent privacy authority and appeal a request decision where the law provides that right. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a right.

Email help@vattention.com with ‘CatCatCat privacy’ and describe your request. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify and fulfil it, and respond within the applicable legal deadline. You do not need a game account. For information processed independently by Apple, your device or your backup provider, use that provider's controls or contact route. Deleting local app data does not itself cancel or refund a store purchase.

10. Children and family use

Parents and guardians should review the game's store age rating, these terms and device purchase controls. An age rating describes content suitability; it does not replace local rules about privacy, consent or a minor's ability to make purchases.

The current game does not ask children to create accounts or submit personal details, and it has no targeted advertising or social messaging. If you believe a child sent personal information to us without permission required by law, contact help@vattention.com. We will investigate and remove information or obtain the required authorization as applicable. We will assess consent requirements before introducing features that collect children's information.

11. Policy updates and contact

We will update this page when our practices change and display the new date. Material changes will be explained before they take effect through an appropriate website or in-game notice; any consent required for a new practice will be requested separately. This policy does not authorize undisclosed tracking or uploads.
